We are heading over to the big smoke from Northern Ireland. We are planning a trip to Alton Towers with the tiddlers!
Can anyone tell me about the 2 day pass, does it have to be used on concurrent days?

Thanks for ur help in advance.

If you have a one day ticket, you can get a ticket for the next day for £5. If you want it on a non specified day it's £15. Are there not terms and conditions on the website?

One thing they don't put on website is a drink deal, buy a beaker for £5 and get free top-ups of soft drinks all day. Unfortunately I didn't see a single water fountain when I was there.

We are actually at Alton towers now! We have buy 1 day, get one day free but I think that might be just hotel guests, you have to use the two days consecutively on these x

Re drinks, you can only re-filling date of purchase (they write the date on them!)

Kellogg's have recently had a bogof coupon but you can't pre-book so have to pay the higher price of £46 on the day for the paying adult.
If you have somewhere to stay, I think 2 days is worth it with kids.
Are there any deals mentioned on Martin Lewis's money saving website?

How old are your children? Your OP made then sound young. Alton towers in my opinion is for 11+.

DelayedActionMouseMaker · 28/07/2013 07:24

One of the cereal manufacturers is doing an 'adults go free' ticket which should be good value. If you know anyone with a sainsburys nectar and they have also just started to do an offer where you can change your nectar points for a 'double the value' money voucher for A.T too. If you need accommodation I can recommend a V good place about 2 miles away.

DelayedActionMouseMaker · 28/07/2013 07:25

Oh and totally disagree with the 11+ thing. We went with a 7year old last year and she LOVED it!

DelayedActionMouseMaker · 28/07/2013 07:26

(Sorry damit, :) )

I have been raiding the cereal cupboard and found the offer. Will compare prices this evening. Our kids are 14, 11, 3 and 1. So a good range.
