early flight 05.50 or pay extra £200 for 1250 flight?

we have a 3 and 15 month old, are planning a hol in Oct.
Would you bite the bullet and go for early flight (would mean getting us all up at 3ish) or pay the extra and fly out at 1250?

Thanks for your advice, we went with later flight. Just thought would be better if we arrived not stressed/knackered !! I am just as grumpy As the kids with mega early mornings , The little one sleeps about the time the flight takes off so am hoping he sleeps on plane and all goes smoothly, and we will arrive at the villa in time for boy's bedtime and a relaxing wine by the pool for us.!!
