Long haul honeymoon destination in June?

Getting married next week- finally looking at booking a honeymoon to go on (left it late as wasn't sure we woul have the budget initially).

Looking at somewhere traditionally 'honeymoonish' like Antigua/ Barbados/ Maldives/ Seychelles, but am concerned there will be a lot of rain. Is there anywhere similar that is likely to have less rain?

Budget is 4K for 2 weeks, preferably all inclusive.

June to November is apparently hurricane season! Also you need jabs for some of these places, it will be too late if you don't already have them.

June is a beautiful time in Europe - long evenings, flowers, before the main madness, good deals. There are some amazing luxury resorts around. I was reading about one newly opened in Greece but your budget will give your four nights...but there must be a compromise!

There's some good ideas here.

Up to date on jabs, and really want to go outside of Europe. Have looked at that website before Betrayed but again it seemed to mostly push Europe or Florida/Africa, which seem less "honeymoon-y" to me. Damn Hurricane season everywhere!

Hawaii had the same climate pretty much all year round. Very long trip to get there though but worth it!

Hawaii is a thought. To avoid disappointment, be aware that Waikiki is like the naffer bits of Playa de Las Americas with murkier water and hotter and more humid weather. Once you are over the 'wow, I'm in Hawaii' bit, have climbed Diamond Head and done your surf lesson, either visit more of Oahu or try another island.

the 'big island' (the one actually called Hawaii) has some amazing sights - volcano, observatory and whales. I haven't been to the sunnier coast but that is supposed to be lovely too.

dengue zone but no other issues as far as I know.

The resort of Waikiki is a bit like America on Sea; Waikiki itself is very built up and has lots of hotels. I would certainly suggest leaving Oahu and exploring more of this island, particularly the North Shore.

Its never been humid when I've been there; just hot. Seawater is not murky, have never seen this. The beach though in a small part of Waikiki has been eroded away by tides.

Big Island itself has no long stretches of sandy beaches; it has however, a black sand beach. It is an island of 11 microclimates. It is a very beautiful island to visit, I would love to return there one day.

Do not worry yourself unduly about the possibility of catching dengue fever if you do visit.

I got back from hawaii amcouplemofmweeks ago.mwenstayed in Waikiki but had a car and went out and about every day. We snorkelled with turtles, did some great hiking and ate really well, and visited pearl harbour I can't recommend it enough! Although with two weeks I'd definitely hop onto another island next time.

On my honeymoon we went to Bali, June is one of the best times to go there see tripadvisor here. If you go there, I strongly recommend you stay on the Gili Islands for a few days too, we went to Gili Trawangan. It is a tiny island with no cars, people get around by pony and trap but you could walk round the island if you wanted to. It's a total beach bum place with the best scuba diving possibly in the world.

See if you can get the maldives within your budget (although you may struggle), we've been 3 times in May/June and whilst there has been the odd rainy day (usually just a half day) it is worth it for the fantastic time you will have. We've been to the caribbean and had 4 days of solid rain (in a weeks holiday) so you can'tguarantee anything (unless you go somewhere like Egypt or the middle east.

You also won't get the risk of hurricanes.
