Help! Friend's hen weekend in Paris... (long, sorry)

...I'll be 16 weeks pregnant. She is absolutely lovely and doesn't yet know I'm pregnant but I'm planning to tell her today.

We've booked and paid for the trip already (before I knew I was pregnant). There are 8 people going in total.

She has just emailed to ask whether we have any ideas for what to do in Paris.

She also said she was thinking Eurodisney might be fun for a day. It would cost around £45 extra, she says. Normally I'd be up for it but I'm assuming there's not much to do there when pregnant?

Anyone have any fun ideas for Paris while pregnant? Would love to give her some ideas to make the eurodisney/pregnancy thing less of a big deal. Obviously if they decide that's what we're doing, I'll tag along, just seems like a lot to pay for sitting around waiting for people to come off rides! On top of the £250 we've already paid... Then again, maybe a day romping around Paris would end up being more expensive than that?!

Thanks in advance for your ideas!

Hope I didn't come across as not wanting to go at all, I do, am quite excited! Smile

Why wouldn't you be able to go on (most) rides? Other than the truly outrageous, I've never heard they were banned.

EuroDisney sounds a much more pregnant-friendly plan than a massive bar-crawl!

There will be lots to do at Disney. Most rides were ok. There was only 1 at Epcot when I was pregnant that I couldn't go on. There are or should be signs saying what is ok and what is not.

Tea cups are usually fun!

Hey guys,
Thanks so much for the helpful replies! Will have a look at the ride possibilities, hadn't really considered it as am a rollercoaster junkie and have seen 'no pregnant women' signs on so many!
Thank you Smile

I went on a hen weekend in London at 20 something weeks. It was tiring but great. We did the boat trip on the Thames as the activities, the night out clubbing was a bit sober but overall it was good. Euro Disney would be ok, I think there would be stuff you can go on

Aww, you will be able to buy your baby some Disney merchandise!

Are you all going up the Eifel tower/Sacre Coeur/peering at the Mona Lisa and taking a boat trip on the river?

We went on a Hen Do to Paris...pre-babies for all if us though. We went to Eurodisney in the day on the Saturday but it was so busy we only went on maybe 4 rides - I think all but Big Thunder Mountain would have been fine. We did a lot of wandering around, posing the hen with characters etc.

In the evening we found a gorgeous restaurant in La Marais then went on to a pub fr drinks and dancing. It was brilliant but much less pregnancy friendly than EuroDisney!

Ooh I love idea of boat trip! Thanks Smile
I don't think there's a plan yet but some great ideas here.

On the Disneyland map there is a key which tells you what rides aren't suitable for small children and expectant mothers! If you google you can probably get to see a copy before you go.
(or check on the Disneyland website)
have fun!
