I wouldn't want to go so far with two young children.

Should be still warm enough in southern Spain. Costa del Sol? Or Portugal?

Only a 2 - 2.5 hour flight time, and you will be able to buy most baby paraphernalia in the resorts.

You'll have to define "hot"...

Costa del Sol average high in October is 22, I would call that "warm" but not "hot".

What about gran canaria?

By hot I'm thinking enough to go swimming, wear shorts etc.

Don't forget, you will have one on each lap. We did canaries with this age DC but it wasn't my best ever flightWink

We went to Cyprus when DS2 was 10 weeks during October half term and a had a great holiday. The weather was lovely and warm, not too hot but it got dark quite early. I took my cloth bouncy chair which had a metal frame, dismantled it before packing, then rebuilt it on arrival and put DS in that, gently bouncing it as I sunbathed.

if you want hot you need to look at sharm. most of europe will have unpreductable weather at that time of year. canaries although warmer can be overcast

We have been to Tenerife for the last 3 years in mid Oct, weather has always been very pleasant, late 20s, fingers crossed it's warm this year as we are back again this year.

Turkey is nice mid October, you can certainly still wear shorts and swim in the sea.
