Hi
Anyone got any suggestions for a high chair that packs down really small. Am flying to Spain with dd (17 months) and the place we're staying doesn't have a high chair (dh booked it Wink). Anyone any experience of those ones you attach to the table or know where you can get one? Any advice/recommendations gratefully received.

Snowgirl, you can get fabric ones which tie onto a normal dining chair .... I'll see if I can find one, bear iwth me ...

Theres those ones that are material but then the child isn't at table height. Theres a really expensive wooden folding one calles a handysitt but it may be heavy. I have seen infaltable ones too. I have no experience of any of these them but I'll try and find links.

What about one of those cloth ones that attach to normal chairs? They are like a small hanky when folded. Wouldn't know what to google for it though, but someone will for sure.

I got a fabric one from Jo Jo Maman. A bit hard to describe, but it hooks over the back of a chair, and the baby sits on the fabric, which goes up between the legs and is tied round the back. Not ideal for long stints, but okay for feeding. But I hadn't really thought of Alex8's poimt about table height, which isn;t an issue with my lo yet, but with yours being that much older, probably will be. I think mine was about £12.00

or one of \link{http://www.gltc.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?language=en-GB&productID=G8002&CatID=SSHighchairsBoosters\these}

(Bit confused though as it says for babies and toddlers but also says age 2yrs + only)

Thanks for all your suggestions folks. The handbag one looks fab but I think you're right about the height. Dd likes to be independent. Could it be combined with a cushion, or is that asking for trouble?! Will try to find somewhere that stocks the inflatable one and see how compact it is. Note to everyone else ever booking a holiday...make sure they've got a highchair (as if you wouldn't!).
