How "accessible" is Easyjet?

OK, set aside your cynicism and hear me out!

IF I were to fly to Marseille (from LGW) with a broken leg (5 weeks along, no plaster cast or boot, partial weight-bearing with just some sort of walking aid), how helpful could I expect them to be regarding getting on/off the plane, getting through security etc.. Would they provide wheelchairs/speedy boarding and so on?

My DF who has Parkinson's has flown over from Spain to the UK with Easyjet and they provided him and DM with priority boarding and full escorted wheelchair assistance from the check-in desk right up to the plane door, then at the other end from the plane door right up to the arrivals gate. They would have taken him by wheelchair right to my car in the car park but he turned them down. DM arranged the assistance at the time of booking.

I would not worry, if you arrange assistance in advance they will provide everything you need.

I wouldn't try it with Ryanair, though, they will just leave you to crawl! Grin
