Take lots of warm clothes ,it can be freezing at this time of the year . If you're staying in one of the Disney hotels make sure you see the characters there, it saves queuing in the parks . Make use of the fast pass system on the popular rides / parent swap on rides your DC s can't go on and extra hours if you're staying in Disney hotels.

Take snacks from the breakfast buffet! Food is pretty expensive. If you're going to eat in the park restaurants book them before you go. Cafe Mickey (Character meal) is crazy busy & a bit rubbish. The Disneyland Hotel do character evening meals & it's much nicer food & less of a bunfight.
When we went at Christmas it was freezing & we ended up buying blankets to wrap the children in to watch the parades, v v expensive. Take your own!
Definitely make use of your 2 hours in the morning if you're staying in a Disney Hotel. Peter Pan & Buzz Lightyear rides are rammed when the park opens!
Enjoy it, we love going! Xmas Smile.

take small crappy toys with you, lots of them, from the £1 shop, it is a GIANT shop - which towards the end of the day with a tired 3 year old will mean many, many meltdowns, ditto to packets of sweets etc, think of a shop with a few rides, you wont go wrong, take food, drinks (cartons), better to throw away than pay their prices (and queue an hour for chips).

Put drinks in your suitcase. Really expensive to buy once you're there and queues in the restaurants can be long - annoying if all you want is a drink.
Take a brolly/hat in case it rains.

Take thermal undies, it can be very very cold this time of year. Make sure you take breaks in between rides and do some indoor things - shows etc in the Movies land next door. Take a spare set of scarf hat and gloves for each child so you don't have to wait for one lot to dry before going out. Some rides are scary - like Snow White ride - so 3yo may not want to go on them.

Ooh the stitch live show is great - my ds's loved that one!

Get your fast passes pretty early in the day - when we have been by lunchtime the fast pass times for Peter pan were about 7pm! Ditto what others have said about drink cartons and snacks. Also if your dd likes dressing up (and ds for that matter) take a Disney princess frock/pirate outfit with you. As people have said it is one giant shop and the outfits can cost £60 each!!!! I generally get my kids a 'new' princess dress from (ahem) eBay before we go for a few pounds so I don't get any of the new dress pressure Xmas Smile.

Other than that keep warm and enjoy!

TK MAxx has stunning dressing up clothes if you dont have time to get Ebaying, I preferred the Studio park myself, with DCs
