I know that some of you are VERY good at finding holidays/good deals on line so your challenge is...flights to paris and two day tickets to disneyland travelling on the 13th august(or thereabouts).I have my accomodation sorted already so no worries there.
i have got it down to £516.65, can anyone beat this?
Flying from manchester btw.
thank you!!!!

depending on dates-literally!-they'll either be 8,7 and 6 or 7,6 and 5!!!

alexsmum · 19/03/2006 22:34

ok i suspect the reason your quote is so expensive is because all the hotels are telling me that they won't accomodate more than 4 people.I wonder if she has booked you two rooms or a suite or something?

Legoland in Windsor would be cheaper!!!! Wink

we took ds1 to disneyland paris when he was 2.6 and he absolutely loved it.And then yesterday we were watching a video of when we went and he was all excited and ds2 was all interested and shouting'mickey mouse' and so we thought it would be nice to take them both.We can't afford a two week sun holiday in august so this is our 'holiday' instead!

Just out of curiosity, who did you book with?

alexsmum · 20/03/2006 17:04

hi cutekids-sorry i couldn't come up with anything for you.All the disneyland hotels kept saying they couldn't accomodate that many people.Sad
I booked it all seperately.Flights and car with easyjet, we had hotel points for the holiday inn, and we are getting the park tickets from 365tickets.com.

We are going over to Paris in the easter hols - TWO WEEKS TOMORROW. Yipeeeeee!
Did you really want to fly?
We are taking our car and going over by ferry. Staying over in Mont St Michel for one night then driving down to Paris. It has worked out really reasonably.

alexsmum · 20/03/2006 17:14

for us sparkler flying is a lot easier. We live in the north and just the drive down to the ferry would add on an extra day of travelling.

Just realised it's three weeks not two. Oh poo!

Polgara2 · 20/03/2006 18:59

Alexsmum - I have booked what sounds very similar for May! Did you book the car through Easyjet as well - how much was in it in comparison to the shuttle bus. Thats the one thing thats worrying me really because I can't sort of control it in advance Grin.

alexsmum · 20/03/2006 19:12

we worked out that for the return journey, the shuttle bus was going to cost us approx £60, and the car is costing £68.
The flight times are such that the shuttle bus would have stopped running by then anyway.yes it was through easyjet.we thought it a good deal.

Thank you I will scuttle off to have a look Smile.

alexsmum · 22/03/2006 11:13

i think the price of the car hire varies according to the time of your flight .
