Hello,
We are due to visit Disneyland Paris this coming Tuesday, we have a 2 day pass and one night in the hotel.

There are 4 adults and 4 children all under 3, I was planning on working out a plan of attack so we don't wonder aimlessly and end up queuing for ages.

However due to only having Internet access via an I phone, I mac or I pad I can't access the full working Disney page due to not having a flash player installed bloody apple products

So wonderful mnetter's I was wondering if anyone could advise what we should/ shouldn't do...any tips very much appresiated Smile

If your hotel is a disney one, you will probably get magic extra hours in the morning - that means you get into certain parts of the park early and can avoid the queues. The main bit to head for early is fantasy land as things your LOs can go on - the tea cups, dumbo etc. get big queues quickly and if you can get that out the way then at least you can say you went on them. There is a train ride that's quite good for small kids - can't remember the name but it's in french and it's way up the back of the park somewhere to the right past the castle (from memory, check the map when you get there). Small world is always a fave with the small kids, and the queues move quickier than most other rides. There is another boat ride (again, can't remember the name, sorry) which has tiny wee replicas of the scenes from disney films, really slow ride, ideal for small kids. The cars ride is a must as well. Thats in the studios bit. The toy story area is fab, and the slinky ride is probably the only one you might get on. The others are for bigger kids. There is a play area in the advernture land, where all the pirate stuff is. There is also possibly a play area in the pizza planet restaurant (I didn't get there the last time, it was closed, so never got inside) and the food there is cheaper than most other parts of the park. Buz lightyear ride is a must too - but again, really popular so if you can get on this with either fast pass or magic hour all the better. Use your fast pass as well - makes a huge difference to queue times. Peter pan ride is good for small kids, but again, really popular.

If you are wanting to do a character meal, the Lucky Nugget is the place to go in the park, and your best bet would be to get there early because it's a nightmare at peak times. It's self service buffet style but you gets lots ot characters to meet. If you prefer table service, Cafe Mickey is great, bit pricier but the number of characters much higher and it's a nice atmosphere. Thats in the disney village. Try and pre-book as you will not get in without a booking, unles you are happy to dine at 10.30 at night! That's the option we got as we left it too late to book.

It's been a while since I've been, I'm sure there are other things I've miss/not remembered, but that lit should give you a start anyway! Grab a map at the entrance and get your bearings from there. Best way to get to the back of the park quickly and work your way down is from the train on main street as you enter.

Oh forgot, the magic carpets ride in hollywood studioes was quiet with v little queues when we went last time.

Look out for the shows as well, that's a good way to keep your LOs occupied and give you all a rest from the standing a queuing as well. There was a good ice skating show in frontierland area when we went in Feb last year. I'm sure there are others, but can't think of them just now.

Wow, thanks so much for such a detailed reply! Smile
Yes our hotel is a Disney one and as we are living in France now we can get there nice and early for the first day. Our dd is going to be so excited and I might be a little too Wink

Ok, the train ride is called Casey Junior. The other boat ride is called Le Pays des Contes de Fees. So I got them mixed up Blush. There is also a play area in Frontierland called Pocahontas Indian Village.

Oh, and try Animagique show too in Hollywood studios. It's fab.

You might only get the magic hours for your 2nd day as it's usually a ticket you get when you book into the hotel. If you are able to book in before the magic hours then you might get it but the magic hours ticket we got when we booked in about 2pm and it corresponds with the number of nights you have i.e. 1 night will get you 1 magic hours entry.
