Anyone got experience of Esprit Ski's snow club? Pollyanna?

We're going skiing in 10 days (I am counting) taking dd and ds1 with us for the first time. Ds1 (5) will be doing ski school in the morning and then the snow club in the afternoon, and dd (almost 3) will be doing the snow club all day. I understand that Esprit take the kids out in the snow for snowballing/tobogganing etc and I was wondering how people managed with clothing etc. Ds1 has an all-in-one for his skiing and snow play, but what do I do about clothes for lunch and the indoor stuff - does Esprit take a change of clothes for each child? Dd can wear leggings under her snowsuit but won't be able to fit a fleece underneath, so do I pack that for her each day before she goes to the creche? Any tips gratefully received.

Not done Ski Espirt but have taken little oens skiing . What are you planning for your ds ot wear under the snowsuit ? In Europe it is pretty normal for kids to play indoors in whatever they have on underneath - usually thermal leggings/tights and top. You could always leave a pair of jogging bottoms for him to put on indoors and some indoor shoes. They used to give you a "free" rucksack so you could use that to pack any extra bits for later on and leave it in the creche. Make sure everything is named and preferably thread dd's gloves throught he sleeves on elastic so they don't get lost.

We went with Esprit at the end of Jan and dd did snow club and lessons. Pack a change of clothes in a bag (label the bag, label the clothes, label the goggles, label everything!) - the snow rangers will help them change out of their skiwear for lunch and get changed back again if they're going out in the afternoon. Have a great time!

Oh brilliant, thanks. Yes, I am getting ready with my labelling kit as I can see gloves/hats etc going walkies! Glad to know the snow rangers help the kids sort themselves out.

Lizs - have got kids' thermals for ds1 under his snow suit. Hope that's going to be enough for him, maybe a thin polo neck too? I always wear about 4 layers and I don't want the kid to be cold and miserable.

Sew elastic loops on all the gloves. That way if they take them off they cant drop them. I also stick the boys names on the front of their crash helmets so that when they are in ski school the instructor knows their names. (we also stick our contact details on the back of their helmets in case they have an accident whilst up the mountain with an instructor)

Definately a fleecy polo as well as thermals and also thin gloves to go under mittens.

I'd give him a layer on top of his thermals either a fine fleece (Tesco ones are fine) or cotton polo neck. If it is really chilly ds wears a fleece gilet and a neckwarmer too.

Good idea about contact details on the helmet, elastamum. Ds1 will be renting his kit so do you think it would be okay to put a sticker on it? Have got a balaclava for ds1, and several adult neckwarmners which might do in a pinch. Will head for asda for cheap thin fleeces this weekend as ds1's are all quite thick. Thanks!
