Find me one of those European CenterParcs type places in e.g. Holland...

..which is easily accessible by plane (leeds/Bradford) or ferry (Hull / Newcastle) and then public transport the other end, please.

Top-end Spa provision not important.

Oodles of indoor pools/flumes/slides very important.

Like Eurocamp, but for miserable weather.

thanks x

CP at De Haan in Belgium should be accessible by public transport from Zeebrugge.

You are describing www.keycamp.ie/sites/holland/hl012-duinrell.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=duinrell&utm_campaign=ppc this exactly. We went 2 years and did keycamp and the dcs adored it. We hate car hire etc so flew into Schipol in Amsterdam and got a double-decker train from there to campsite.(train was great). Only thing I would do differently is we got a bus from train station in Dunreill to the campsite and this took a lot of faffing around. It is actually not that far at all to the campsite and if doing it again I would simply do plane, train and taxi .
It is really a marvellous campsite. The Tiki Pool is a mass of flumes, slides, crazy swimming tunnels etc and is all indoor. Then this campsite is actually situated on same site as a theme park with free access if you are staying on campsite. The theme park is great with lots to do!It was a wonderful holiday and we are considering doing it again soon. You certainly wont be guaranteed the weather but your kids will have a ball.
I would highly recommend it-great value for money!

Forgot to say there is a charge for the Tiki Pool(which is the indoor flumes, slides etc) but it is really fantastic value for money. We used to do the theme park during the day and the pool place in evening so for 4 of us it was about 15 euro a day but it was the best swimming fun the dcs have ever had. Particularly good for older kids-mine were 12 and 10 at the time.

is it a week's worth of fun, penney or a long weekend?
Ours are a gung-ho 5, and 12 so I think it would suit them?

We spent a week and it was just right length of time for us. Your dcs ages will be fine-will be one or two swimming chute/tunnel thingys which have a height restriction and ours were just a few centimetres short at the time which caused a great deal of dismay I can tell you. Actually it was mentioned recently as a reason to go back by ds,12, who desperately wants to go back and now have a go on theseGrin.
Also,at Schipol airport it is really easy to link up with trains etc as the train station is in the airport and everything is really well laid out ,signposted etc. Took us about half an hour to get from airport to nearest station to Dunreill campsite and as I say, I would just get a cab from there to campsite-about 20 euros ish I think!
Gung-ho children sound perfect timetosmile.Smile. The theme park also has lots of gung-ho stuff-far too gung-ho for me I can tell youGrin.

We stayed at duinrell for a week, there is plenty to do. We didn't pay for the Tikki Pool but we didn't camp and stayed in the chalets.
Center Parcs De Eemhof is close to Amsterdam, plenty for dcs. They have a surfing machine in the pool, which costs extra, but the pool has rapids and big slides.

You might want to try Pierre & Vacances Holiday Villages in France and Spain or Centreparcs in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. I work in the travel trade and think they might be part of the same company. Pierre & Vacances has some 40% offers available at the moment too.....www.pv-holidays.com/gb-en/holiday-villages_ms or www.centerparcs.com/EN/GB/home. I have been to both and would recommend....
