HELP!! What to pack for a two week holiday

Not new to holidaying but certainly new to holidaying with a 7-month-old!!!

We're travelling on 6th August and I have begun the packing process. I have packed mine and LO's things into the suitcases but there isn't much room left for DH's things - especially as he wants FOUR pairs of shoes!!!

I have packed:
For me - 5 pairs of shorts, 10 day tops, 4 trousers/ three-quarters, 6 evening tops, 2 bikinis, 2 pairs of shoes.
For LO - 10 vests, 5 outfits, a swimming suit, trunks and a swim hat.

It is likely DH would want - 7 evening shirts, 7 day shirts, 3 pairs of trousers, 3 swim trunks, 5 pairs of day shorts, 4 pairs of shoes.

Then there is: shampoo, conditioner, facial wash, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorants x 2, calpol, calprofen, rehydration salts (prescription for LO), eczema creams, sun lotion x 3, after sun, hair straighteners, hairbrush, make-up (I have VERY little!), milton sterilising tablets, 4 bottles, a free-flow cup, two snack pots, toys ... OMG the list is endless!!! HELP!!

Is that too much? What does everyone else pack when going with a baby???

Under wear? Beach towels? Nappies?

I sounds OK to me but DH will have to ditch one of his pairs of shoes, and wear another pair to travel in. Don't take too many toys for LO, stick to a favourite cuddly and teethers/activity toys that can be attached to the pushchair. Think about using a sling for getting off the plane, gives you more hands free to manage passports at security and until you get the pushchair back at baggage reclaim (even if you drop the pushchair at the plane steps outbound doesn't mean you pick it up there on arrival)

Take a tube of travelwash, a tube of concentrated detergent which means you can take less underwear and just wash as needed by hand, also the baby's clothes which means you can take less of those. My DS had eczema and it was fine for his clothes. Remember that you can put a change of clothes in your hand luggage for each of you, which is what DH and I do; top, shorts, underwear/ socks. Useful if the baby is sick on you or something spills. We usually plan to wear our smarter/ evening tops tops twice, and if you have a beach kaftan type cover up you can go to the beach in that or eat in cafe's at lunch, saves a fresh top and shorts each day.

Take travel size toiletries or decant into small bottles, unless sharing with DH. I even take part used things like stick deodorants and toothpaste to save weight. I never bother with the plastic bag performance at security, preferring to pack them in the hold luggage. You may need the baby to have some eczema cream at hand though. Baby wipes are exempt from the rules though.

I'd also bring a little first aid kit with dressing, plaster and antiseptic cream. I didn't bother when there were just the two of us. But LOs are quite accident prone. But maybe 7mo are better as they arent moving around so much?

Thanks. Maybe our suitcases aren't that big! We have the usual underwear and toiletries but going to make DH ditch some shoes!

On one holiday, my DH brought two new pairs of shoes back with him! You never know....
