Hi, just going thru a stressful time as my lovely Mum died on the 3rd July, missing her so much:( My dh also has cancer, and we have 14yr old triplets!!! I so need a break, it will prob have to be in the UK because of dh but I can`t come up with anything. They need to have loads to do and freedom to roam, we need some peace and quiet as we are errrrrrrrr "older" parents. We all love animals, dh and boys love to fish (river) and dd needs wi-fi!!! Has anybody any ideas please?

the Manor House Hotel
We have been going here very year for last 5-6 years as there is so much for both our teenagers (now 19 & 17) and our much younger daughter, to do.
But, you dont go there for the decor, the bedrooms are clean and cosy but a bit dated, so ii won't suit if you are looking for something very modern. However it's a fantastic place and something like 75% of the custom is repeat bookings, people like us who discover it, and keep going back cos it suits all ages.

I've also been to The Manor House Hotel and was impressed with all the activities included. Some our group did lots of craft stuff such as pottery and candle making and others tried archery. We all enjoyed the curling and bowling. Those activities normally cost a small fortune. Plus the location is good for a roam around the moors.
