Toddler essentials abroad

Hello this is my first post, here goes.....
We go to Turkey for a week when the summer holidays start. I was hopping to get a few tips on what to take when taking a 20mo abroad, so what are your holiday essentials for a toddler? I already have the usual plasters, calpol, ibuprofen, teething stuff, swim nappies.
Thanks in advance :)

We took books, magazines, favourite toys and some new ones that didn't come out until the plane, colouring. She mainly preferred the bucket and spade, ball, bubbles and toy farm animals we bought her out there though Smile have a nice holiday very Envy

Possibly some calpol. You can't buy that in France !! No idea about Turkey...

I take a small tube of travel wash and rinse clothes in the sink. It only takes a minute or two and stuff dries so quickly on the balcony.

Bedtime comforters i.e. muslin square or fav toy and bath time toys (small ones). Portable DVD player? a maybe. Insect repelent. Does she/he still have milk? as cows will taste very different abroad and formula may be an idea? water bottle you can fill with juice at breakfast for use during the morning (money saver lol) unless it's all inclusive and will not matter - my DS liked his drinks in his own cup/bottle at that stage so I would get in a glass and pour in his own (spoilt child lol).
Have a brilliant time

Where we went it was all inclusive and breakfast didn't start until 8 so we took Ella's smoothie pouches to keep dd going until then

Some snacks like cereal bars, biscuits in small packs but no chocolate, this will melt. Good for the plane trip and handy when you are out.

Some new books and magazines, colouring stuff for times you will be inside and the flight.

All comforter in handluggage as nothing is worse than having lost the luggage and the cuddly toy.

I wouldn't worry about milk. DD survived 2 weeks Majorca when she was 23 months without a drop but ate lots of yoghurt. If a child at that age doesn't know formula I wouldn't bother as chances are it may not like it as well.

We had a UV50 suit, a floppy hat and lots of UV50 suncream as DD wanted to play in the wet sand at the beach not under the sunshade.
