Advice on whether to take a pushchair for 4 yr old

We are travelling on a long flight, including a connecting flight, soon. My daughter is now 4 yrs old. In all previous years we have taken a pushchair, but I am now wondering whether she is too old for it.

On the one hand, getting around the airports involves a lot of walking and if my daughter gets tired, having the pushchair might be the only way she can rest her little legs.

On the other hand, I intuitively feel that 4 yrs old is too old for a pushchair. She's a fit and healthy girl.

We do have Trunki, but not sure it will help a whole lot if she's too tired to walk.

I'd welcome any opinions or advice.

Leave it at home!
Saying that as someone who routinely used pushchairs up until they are nearly 5 or over even, so I have no truck if you choose to take it after all. But I certainly wouldn't bother just for airport transit with a usually healthy 4yo.

Most adults don't bother walking more than 400 yds away, she's probably fitter than most of them.

We're not taking ours for our 3 year old- to much hassle!

No way too much bother, leave it at home.

Pushchairs are useful if:
You will have a lengthy time changing flights during the night for a sleepy grumpy 4 yo to sleep in
or
If you want to have long lingering evenings in restaurants and your child wants to fall asleep in the puschair before it is time to walk back to your accommodation.

Will there be a lot of walking? We took the double buggy to disneyworld when DS1 was five and DS2 was three and it was a godsend.

If not then I'd say you can probably manage without it but we took one last year for DS2 who was still inclined to fall asleep during an evening meal

I would bring a cheap umbrella type one. It's not going to ruin your child to use it for a short time, but it might make a positive difference for your trip.

Watch out in the airport with a small child whose head will be at hand luggage level. People are not one bit careful.

Definitely don't take it - she'll manage. We stopped taking ours for DD when she turned 3 and she coped fine.

Trunki is enough - they move surprisingly well.
