Alternative to a Trunki?

DDs birthday is coming up and I'm thinking of asking her grandparents to buy her a suitcase of some sort. She currently has a small (tiny really) backpack sized suitcase on wheels with a pull out handle. But we can't actually fit everything she needs into it even for a 1 night stay away, so she needs something a little bigger. All I can see online are similar small ones or Trunki.

Anyone got a Trunki, is it big enough for a couple of nights away or is it really aimed at giving them something to sit on in the airport?

Any other nice alternatives?
Thanks MNers :)

We have a trunki and you could definitely fit in everything needed for an overnight stay. We take it whenever we go away - usually it just has toys and cuddlies in it but that's for a week or more's holiday. When DS goes to stay with his GPs on his own, he takes the Trunki. He absolutely loves it :)

We've just bought a brilliant penguin pull along case from.....Morrisons!

It's cute and big enough for everything you need, plus it was £25....a very similar, if not the same one is currently on Amazon for about £35.

They also do a dolphin one, just as cute! They are great quality too.

We didn't want a trunki so were very pleased to find this!

You could try the ladybird case from LittleLife! We've just got one and it's fab, holds everything that we needed for our trip away. It's a bit more expensive but it's definitely worth it.

Samsonite Funny Face range is good, and the suitcases were big enough for my kids to take away for a few days.
