Can anyone please recommend a location for a day out for 4 mums & 8 toddlers/babies close to the M25 around Middlesex / Berkshire / North Surrey? Preferably with an indoor space to play as I think the weather forecast looks grim for later in the week! Thank you!

Bocketts farm near Leatherhead/ dorking is brill- lots of indoor space: play areas, animal barns, cafe as well as huge outdoor space if it brightens up.
I live in the Staines Asford area so could recommend a few small soft play places, but would struggle with a whole day at any of them. Pm me if you want more details.

Blenheim Palace?
Newbury? Has parks for outside play, huge library and soft play centre all walkable?

Good luck. Let us know where you end up going!

We went for the lookout discovery centre in Bracknell and much fun was had by all. The outdoor play area was fantastic between the showers and the indoor entertainment was great. The cafe was a bit small for a wet day but we managed on the picnic benches outside if it was a bit chilly & damp at times. Don't you just love the British summer! The coral reef place opposite looked v interesting, definitely going to look at that for our next meet up!

Beckonscot Model Village in Beckonsfield is excellent, although only really good for a couple of hours. It is outdoors but has a picnic shelter.

The Lookout in Bracknell is good for primary school age children.

If you are interested in swimming, Coral Reef in Bracknell (opposite the Lookout) is excellent for babies and up, as is Windsor Leisure Centre.

A pretty cost-effective day out is a trip to Windsor Great Park (Savill
Garden Entrance). Valley Gardens (free) is at its peak at the moment. There is a lovely little playground near the Obelisk, where you can also picnic. If you need to go indoors there is the Savill building where you can buy nice lunch and browse the shop.

I went to the Look Out place earlier in the week! It was fab :) Also want to go back to Bekonscott, haven't done that since child was small (and she doesn't remember it :( )
