Legoland - one adult with a 5yo and 2yo and no car?

I'm thinking of taking the dc to stay overnight in the resort hotel. Having read some of the legoland threads I am thinking dc1 won't be able to go on some of the rides as I'll have dc2 with me. Is it worth going even without the rides?

Plus will I am worried I'll spend a fortune on food as won't be able to carry clothes and food as travelling by train.

Is this a crazy idea?

It's fine

You can hire a 'buggy' there. Kind of like a trailer you get for a bike. Get a double and both can fit if need be ( is a fair walk). And can use as a place to store your things. A few wraps to eat pack well and small, plus a few other snacks and buy an ice cream and you'll be fine.

Your 5 year old should be able to ride most alone. I think it's 90cm to go on a few rides with a adult, 1m alone.

Check their heights check the ride restrictions, Legoland is very cautiouse IMHO.

I suppose I think it would be wasted on the 2year old tbh - can you go with just the older one or pair up with another friend or something?

I just think it's expensive for what you get if you need to stay overnight etc (you may of course have plenty of ££££££££££)

right OK, thanks for that. Hmmmm I am thinking it's going to cost a fair old whack and dc2 won't really get it.

I'll measure dc1 and work out what rides he could go on alone - but of course he won't want to, and dc2 won't want to sit in the buggy and wait for him.

Maybe next year would be better............
