I know there have been similar posts in the past, but I was wondering if we could have some updated ideas?

Any lovely ladies help me out?

Thanks

If you can get one (they are discontinued) a graco citilite

RandomMess · 04/05/2012 21:14

got that wrong

it's the graco citisport or mothercare citilite - same pushchair slightly different models.

Have a look at a petite star zia

I just bought the cheapest mother are own brand pushchair £35 at the time it travelled the world (literally) and was still in good condition when I passed it on to a friend. We trekked miles with.

I bought a reworked Petite Star Zia+ from here and it's a great second pushchair. It seems pretty comfy and goes completely flat.

Have to say Baby Jogger City Mini. It costs about £180 but is so hard wearing it is well worth the money. It folds super flat with just one pull of a strap and can easily be done even one handed with baby in the other arm. It has a extra large hood and lies flat so the little one can have a kip easily. We have had ours now for 5 years and it has been used daily and been abroad with us every year. It is more for my 2 year old now but my 4 year old still fits in it with plenty of room. Hope thus helps

I just got the maclaren quest. It weighs about 6kg, and costs me £135. I don't think it folds as small as the zia, but it's much lighter. (I compared it in shop). I need a lie flat one as my LO is only 1yo and definitely needs to sleep a lot during the day. The really cheap ones (like the maclaren volo) doesn't recline so it's not suitable.

I have the Baby Jogger, but I love it. Not willing to sacrifice it to the tender mercies of foreign bagage handlers. I will look into the Maclaren :) I'm not sure about rewoorked prams. I looked at what that means and it seems to mean, fixed for now, but no guarantees...

I bought an O Baby Sport for exactly the same reason two years ago - it's withstood many many flights and despite costing a whopping £45 (including delivery, thank you the internet) it's still going strong. In fact, we now use it every day (DS still naps happily in it for HOURS) and have consigned the £700 Bugaboo to the loft.

Heartily recommend it!
