What's the cheapest way to book the Eurostar? Are there any deals out there?

We're planning to go to Paris for 2 days in November. I was thinking that if there were any clever ways to do it, then you lot would be the ones to know.

SmileYour tips please.

I think booking on the eurostar website in advance is the cheapest. You'll have to wait three months before you can buy tickets though.

Early booking is the answer.. as soon as they are available book them. We went for £59 return a couple of years ago.

You can book them 4months in advance and agree with the advice to book early! If you have a nectar card then the points can be used towards money off.

If you're looking to do a deal booking with hotel accommodation too then there are often 2 for 1 deals or free night deals advertised in the metro and prob other papers too

Agree that early booking is the way to go. Also if you go on the website, you should be able to sign up for a Newsletter, and they will email you their promos etc.

Have seen 2 free Eurostar tickets are available with BMI air credit card. You need to spend a certain amount (£350?) in the first 3 months and then you get enough airmiles (or whatever it is now) to claim them.

Look on Martin Lewis money saving expert site under holidays. There are a few credit cards with similar deals

Haha the very thought of having enough money to earn BMI credit.
Hence the much anticipated two days in Paris, first holiday in three years.

I booked my return Eurostar for the direct Disneyland train from St Pancras for November, over the phone directly with Eurostar, for £ 84. I could choose to have tickets posted, collect from a machine at the station, or print off e-tickets.

You can book from 180 days in advance, but I could book earlier than this as I also booked my hotel with them.

The chap I spoke to was extremely pleasant and helpful.
