Tell me about it please. Is it worth it with DC 11 and 13 so won't really need the child care? I'm tempted cos want to learn to sail but will DC be able to sail with us or will they have to go in kids club?

We went 5 times when my 2 youngest children were pre school and my teenager made lots of friends and ate with other teens etc. We used the childcare, learnt to waterski, sail etc so got our money worth. Don't think I would go now as my youngest 2 DS are now 11 and 13 and we like to all hang out together and our tastes have now changed and now like days out and not being surrounded by only English people. When I last went sailing tuition for children and adults was separate.
They are good holidays. It's not so much childcare for your age children as an opportunity to dip in and out of the club if there is something they want to do or learn. As well as making loads of new friends.
Have you looked at other sailing holidays?

We used them and our experience was awful. It isn't good value for money and when we had a problem they were unhelpful bordering on horrible.
I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

If sailing is your priority, have a look at the Sunsail beach holidays. They also do dinghy sailing tuition.
I've been on lots of Mark Warner holidays & think they are fairly good. There will be clubs that your two can dip in and out of & they do sailing classes for all ages of children.
I've never had any severe problems. Sometimes the accommodation seems a bit basic, given the price paid & the food varies enormously from resort to resort.
If you haven't sailed before, stick with the Med (so don't go to Portugal), as it is much easier to learn without having to worry about the tides.

Thanks guys . I looked at Sunsail but they seemed dear. I was attracted to MW cos of the discounts. I think I'll contact them to see if DC can sail with us.

how about Neilson. They do sailing too.

Have used Neilson lots and son (12) loves the clubs - drop in and out whenever you want so plenty of opportunity to hang out as a family too! Good variety of food and all tuition included - so sounds like best option if you want to learn! Did RYA level 2 last year and really enjoyed the dinghy sailing!
