I understand. It's your home and you are passionate about it.

I'm not saying the beaches are rubbish, I'm just saying I don't like them.

Anyhoo, I don't go to Italy for the beaches, I go for the many other things it offers!

Yes, beaches are one of the few things I am passionate about with regards to my own country !
But I must admit that -like many other things- Italians have been particularly good at trying to ruin them
