Anyone know of any good deals for Disneyland Paris?

We're looking to take our 3 children later this year in either early July (our boys birthday are 2nd and 3rd), or end of October for the Halloween celebrations.

Looking for a good deal, trying to keep costs down a little too so don't mind travelling by coach/eurostar. Would prefer not to fly or drive.

Also, anyone have any 'must do' tips? Trying to keep booking/travelling costs down so we can treat the kids when we get there as I know food costs a fortune too. xx

Hi CherryPie,

We've just got back from 3 fab days in DLP.

Food is expensive - however, we took 3 sandwich boxes in each day with snacks plus 4 drinks bottles without any problem. In Disneyland part there are plenty of water fountains so you can fill up your drinks bottles (I took one with neat squash as my 2 DSs arent keen on plain water). Security look in your bags but they're not looking for sandwiches!

Second day we had burgers, chicken nuggets and chips at lunchtime inside the Walt Disney Studio area - for 2A/2C this cost about £50!

Third day found the huge McDonalds at the end of the Disney Village and were charged just over £20 for the same meal (better quality too). So if you don't mind a 10 minute walk and the palaver of having your bags searched/getting your tickets out again its worth it.

We stayed at the Davy Crockett ranch in a Premium cabin (a mobile home) which had a veranda with picnic table and bbq so we could eat properly in the evenings.

Really underestimated how much walking we would do (spent 1st day in Paris) and how tired we would all be.

Fantastic fun - my boys really are adrenalin junkies and loved being able to go on the roller coasters on their own (they are 7 & 9). The Stunt Show is a must if you have boys. Take a look at the DLP Magic website as they have lots of tips for when rides are quieter and where to sit on a ride for the best experience.
