Advice needed please.
I am taking my five year old twin girls to Disneyland Paris this thursday for two nights and three days.
One of them doesn't like scary things.
They both love princesses and pirates.
Please can anyone tell me what are the most interesting things to see? need to plan but have no idea how to!
I've got pirates of the carribean, orbitron (easy ride) and buzz lightyear on our list.
They like toy story, old fashioned disney characters and... as I said... princesses....
Is there a place we can go to see princesses wihtout paying extra.
we are staying in a disney hotel so hopefully we get into the resort two hours ahead (with everyone else).
meant to be lovely weather - but as approaching holiday weekend bound to be PACKED.
(we have half board by the way)
Thanks!

Have you checked out the disneyland paris forum on trip advisor? It's a brilliant source of info & figgygirl, the destination expert is hugely knowledgeable.

There is a Princess pavilion in Disney now. The queues are long but some people start queuing during extra magic hours for when it opens at 10. I believe there are usually 2 princesses doing meet & greet at one time but there are 2 separate queues so you don't get to meet both.

The best place to meet princesses is to go for lunch or dinner at Auberge de Cendrillon. It is expensive but the princesses spend loads of time at each table so it is lovely for the little ones. If you have the premium meal plan, you can use vouchers to eat there. Otherwise you'd have to supplement the vouchers.

Have a great time. Do avail of EMH. Rides like Dumbo can have very long queues during the day but during EMH, you'll get to go on it several times without any queue. Likewise, Peter pan, buzz light year, the carousel & teacups. We usually get up to be at gate for 8 on at least one morning, do all the rides that are open a few times. & then we go back for breakfast.

Enjoy your trip.

Thanks so much. Do you know if I can supplement my half board vouchers to go and see the princesses?

Went in Feb with my DS 5 and loved it.

You should get a program when you check in and this will tell you the rides available during magic hours (8-10am). We used free fast pass system to go on the popular rides. DS's best rides where Buzz Light Year, Autopia, Big Thunder Mountain (fast). He liked Discoveryland and Frontierland the most.

We loved WD Studio and it is great for a bit of a break - Stitch show is fab. Watch out for Crusher's Coaster. It looks very sedate on the Disney TV channel but is really fast and scary.

If you use your meal vouchers to eat at a higher category restaurant, the vouchers are taken at face value and you use them as part-payment as if they were cash. It's not really an economical use of them to be honest. The vouchers include either a free soft drink or small bottle of water and you don't get that if you're using them for a higher category restaurant.

The best value for us was buying the premium vouchers and we used them for lunch with the princesses at Auberge de Cendrillon, for the buffet dinner with characters at Inventions in the Disneyland Hotel (which is fantastic) and for second tier seating at Buffalo Bills Wild West Show.

If you're going on Thursday and it's not school holidays until Friday, you might find that the parks aren't busy on Thursday and Friday. Weekends are really busy and the queues can be very long so maybe try go to the Princess Pavillion on Thursday.

A good place to meet characters without too many people pushing and shoving (which unfortunately happens a lot in the park) is the lobby of the Disneyland Hotel (at the entrance to the park) around 4pm. The characters do a dance down the main staircase and then dance round the lobby with the kids. It's a great way to get pics and autographs. It normally happens from Thursday to Sunday so worth checking out and it's a nice opportunity to have a break from the park and you could go upstairs to Cafe Fantasia, which is really nice, for a coffee or hot chocolate.

As Eggrules says, Figgygirl is a fountain of knowledge on all things Disney and she'll answer you quickly on Trip Advisor.

Enjoy!
