We'd prefer central and our budget is up to £700 per night for 2 rooms - is this enough to get somewhere decent?

Thanks for any advice anyone can give.

Hi Alpha, I've stayed here with my children, but in twin rooms side by side; on the first night DH slept with one DC and I slept with the other. The second night, when we got back from dinner around 22.00 we realised there was noone else in the two other rooms on our floor and a roundabout conversation with the concierge revealed they were no more new arrivals due that night, so we decided to put the DCs together and DH and I together. They might have interconnecting rooms though. It's a great location in the lovely Marais district and very good value.

We stayed here a couple of years ago. On the left Bank between St Germain and the Jardins du Luxembourg. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity and handy for the river, metro etc.

Thank you both, I'll look at those.
