i would love to go to the everglades with the kids, has anyone done this?

Stayed in Fort Myers which is basically the mainland to which Sanibel & Captiva are attached, just north of Naples. It is a lovely area with a couple of nature reserve areas backing the beaches. Rays swim around your legs and dolphins put in an appearance .

The motorway across from there to the other coast is called alligator alley and we did see some from the car. Had a fab day out in the Everglades at Billie Swamp which is owned and run by native americans.
