Some snacks for the children and drinks. Get some little notebooks and a few crayons so they can have a scribble. Maybe a couple of books a favourite toy for them.

Just trying to think of some more...

Take lots of little snacks. Change of clothes for all. Lots of little toys/books to keep them occupied.

Good luck!

make sure you take wahtever their comforter is- dummy or blanky or whatever.
bottle or cup with lid or dummy to suck on when taking off and landing.
cot blanket each to snuggle up with.

Be careful if you use some types of beakers (in particular the anyway up cup) as if they are sealed to craete a vaccum to prevent spills the change in preseeure can cause the lid to pop off making a right mess, so once airborn just take the lid off and put it back on again.

What we did when flying with DD when she had just turned 2 (not long haul tho') was pack a little rucksack full of little bits. Colouring, crayons etc. as has already been suggested. Also little packets of sweets or raisins, mini jigsaws etc, party bag stuff.

We individually wrapped everything in wrapping paper which made it seem v. exciting. We'd wait until she was getting a bit restless then produce something else from the rucksack. She took ages to open each one and by the time she'd finished opening it and playing with it to the point of getting bored we had another one to open.

This kept her very happy for the whole flight.

May be different with twins though...........

Good luck!
