Hi,
We need to renew our annual family travel insurance, as Harry had a stent fitted into one heart valve he is now classed as having heart disease, it was a blocked artery found during routine tests, he is fit and does not require checkups. Can anyone recommend a company that offers a reasonable price please?

Age Concern do travel insurance ... for people of all ages! My dad used them when he had difficulty getting reasonable insurance cover elsewhere for a pre-existing condition.

A couple of years ago my boss was struggling to get cover for his mum, who was quite poorly. I'm pretty certain in the end it was The Post office who came up trumps for them.

thanks, just tried to get some quotes on line but can`t do it, the silly thing is the blocked artery was found by chance, he was never ill, never had any chest pains, works manually all the time, but had this stent fitted to open up the artery. No further treatment needed!

Our baby is quadriplegic, reg blind, unable to eat and drink and has 150 seizures per day, and direct line are the only company who would insure him and all his conditions fully. we get a years insurance cos we travel alot, and it covers us for usa and europe for ds who is ill, dd who has existing condions, other ds and dd me and dh for 160.00. it might not be cheap but then again neither is being ill and having insurance companies refuse your claim

tescos - covered all of our minor problems

Gosh,
Just spent 10 mins talking to Tesco and they want £309!

Hi,
Well I ended up going to a local insurance broker, the girl was excellent and eventually found us a family annual worldwide policy for £160, thats for 5 of us, they phoned the medical dept of Norwich Union and they accepted Harry`s medical condition at no extra cost! Pays to really shop around.
