My Old Dutch , we went to the Holborn one last year before WinterWonderland but just noticed that there is a branch in Kensington.

Don't go to Rainforest Cafe. It's over-priced shite.

Giraffe is very good with a nice view over the river from the South bank. I think there's also one in High St Ken, so near Hyde Park.

We like Ed's Diner, but she may be a tad young for that. All the chain restaurants are pretty good though, for that age: Strada, Wagamama etc. Dim T is a bit different and good for kids too.

I second Giraffe. Or pizzaexpress

Hard Rock Cafe - nearby

Wagamamas - there's one in Harvey Nicks (also close by),and one at the end of High St Ken (above the TK MAxx). There is a Strada almost opposite and a

Giraffe a couple of doors down. The cafe in wholefoods does nice food too and Sticky Fingers is a trot further along the road.

The cafe at the end of the Serpentine is really nice but probably very busy with the wonderland on (great pizza)

itzu in Notting Hill or Yo Suhi in Whiteleys (who also have an Odonos ice cream bar)
