Toying with the idea of taking PILs away for a long weekend in February. They are not very mobile and their 2 main loves are their grankids and eating out!! My ds2 will be 2 years old and dd will be about 4 months.

Any suggestions??

And I don?t mean suggesting getting my head examined

how about London as there is always loads to do. However if that is too hectic what about a self catering cottage in the country

Centreparcs?? Would imagine wouldn't be much walking involved if you had a chalet/cottage/whatever near the attractions?

merrycompo · 11/12/2005 20:18

or were you thinking somewhere abroad?

Redtartanlass · 11/12/2005 20:22

Were going to go abroad, but the Travel Insurance was about £700

Thought of Centerparcs, but didn't think it would be great for the infirm. But maybe I'm not remembering it very well. Grammer not right there, but you know what i mean

Self catering cottage sounds good, but when I googled on the internet was overwhelmed with hits. Any personal recommendations?

I would go to somewhere near Ludlow - best collection of foodie restaurants outside London apparently.

Its a lovely area so you should find it easy to get a nice cottage somewhere!

I would think CPs would be nice for them????? They can use the land train?

Redtartanlass · 12/12/2005 12:28

Does CP in Wiltshire have the train, I don't remebmer it being there when we last went. But that was ages ago and we used bikes!
