That's it really - should we do that in Feb or save up and have a week at Bedruthan in May? It's our last year holidaying in term time.

Is there enough at Disney for children of this age for a 3 day stay, is it worth the hassle fo getting there with two littl'uns and would it be too cold anyway in February? Your advice welcome.

DD is a princess freak BTW.

TIA

The European schools have staggered holidays throughout February and it could be quite chilly. We've been in March and found it uncrowded and warm. May is also a good time to go but avoid Ascension Day weekend (European extended public holidays) and Whitsun. There is plenty for little ones to do - lots of shows to break up the more frantic pace and you'd get opportunties to see parades in both parks. dd was coming up 3 when we last went and was freaked but the oversized characters but loved the Princesses and castle.

Agree plenty to do and that it is very chilly in Feb.

Disney Disney Disney!!! Our 2 loved it and are desperate to go back next year! They were 1 1/2 aND 2 1/2 when we took them last december - they remember it and still talk about it. brill experience! I'd book a cheaper Disney hotel though - we paid for the Newport Bay and from what Ive seen/heard there's not much differenece between the hotels so we'd go to a cheaper one next time. Only there to sleep to be honest but it was nice to be on site and not have to faff around with buses, car parks etc. We drove cos a. it's cheaper and b. we stopped at a wine warehouse in calais on the way back!
Have fun!

Definitely do Disney. We went this month with our 3 year old. Yes, it is cold, but dd was very happy wrapped up in her snowsuit in her pushchair and we spent all day there with no problems. We had 3 whole days in the park and she didn't get bored once. There is so much for toddlers to do. The shows are excellent (I was expecting some pretty cheesy poor perfornmances but they were incredible) especially Lion King and the Animation one. The whole of Fantasy Land is absolutely fantastic for toddlers with child safe rides (they always love its a small world). plus I think if you go in Feb there are free child places and extra night free offers worth facing the cold for.

They will love it. DD has been to DLP 2 times, and Florida once - aged 18 months, 2y4m and 3y3m. Every time she has had a ball, and it just gets better. She is princess obsessed too and is in awe when she meets them The parade at DLP is magical for them.

It is busy at peak times (not sure about in Feb) and the Europeans seem to find the concept of queuing a mystery (maybe the English are too good at it!), but definitely worth it.

DLp is great for this age as they can go on such a vast majority of the rides anyway, especially in teh Fantasy land area. And the second park is worth going to for the shows.

For the adults - use Baby switch to ride the roller coasters yourself.

We went in october and it was cold - but just put your vests on, a warm coat, boots and a hat. And take the buggy to thrown coats and bags on whilst you ride.

It's great!

I agree the other Europeans have no concept of queuing, I witnessed a stand up fight between italian and french parents trying to get pics of child with charactors while the brits still stood in the queue watching. Free kids up to arrivals on the 30th of March.

We went last year in February for our honrymoon and it was wonderful and magical.

The kids will love it with all the rides for the young ones and it was very cold but we stil lhad a great time.It snowed and it was beautiful against the backdrop of the castle.
