I'm normally far more organised but nowhere was catching my eye. Anyway have just booked a campsite, Monday - Saturday.

Now 20 years ago I used to live in Tenby but not sure how much its changed, etc with a view to touristy things to do. DD is 10 and has never been.

I know where the nice beaches are and want to take her to Caldey. She's probably too old for Folly Farm. What else is good? Especially if the weather is crap

Clary - can you rememebr where you went horseriding? I've been googling for trekking palces with no luck.

I like animal farms and Folly Farm is meant to be a good one so I was hoping it would be nice for over 8s as well. May have to rethink.

dd is 10.

I am hoping that the weather will be so good we'll do nothing but explore different beaches and eat ice cream. Hmm

To be fair we've not been to Folly Farm since DS1 was about 6 (He's 12 now).

Not mad keen on those sort of things but the adventure playground etc was good.

Dino Park deffo too young for a 10yo.

Horse riding - we go to a place in Marteltwy, a bit run down and casual, rather sweet, they just go out on a lead-rein ride for an hour, costs about £30 for two (DS1 not keen). here

Mostly it's cheaper stuff for us!

Oakwood was great, much quoted than Drayton manor so our DC got to go on everything they wanted as many times as they wanted. Again tho use Tesco vouchers if you can and rake a picnic.

we are in Tenby now :)

Manor house was awful. We stayed for 40 mins and saw 2 animals somewhere in the distance. It was a nice walk but an expensive walk when you see no animals!

Folly farm was amazing! Will be coming back in a few years to take Ds again!

sirzy the wallabies can be hand fed and you can walk through the lemur enclosure and African farm, dd loved those parts. It was hard to see the zebras though but the gibbons came out to show off their baby when we were there, so cute! Smile

There is a great day out in Crosby :)

It's a place where you can do all different watersports such as cannooeing.. swimming.. and they have a lovely accomdation for the night!

I took my kids and they loved it,

It's great for family days out! www.crosbylakeside.co.uk
