Omg that is a great offer! I have just been looking for special mummy-DD things to do (am job-hunting so want fun activities to do just the two of us)

Thank you!

Anyone know how to get there by public transport? Couldn't tell from the website, I may be missing something though

MrClaypole · 27/04/2011 22:40

Train to windsor and eton (central or riverside) then there is a shuttle bus from both stations to Legoland

FreudianSlipOnACrown · 27/04/2011 22:45

Thanks. I'll look that journey up tomorrow :) we are in west Sussex so it should be a feasible day trip.

Is there much for a 4yr old to do there? She's not quite 1 metre - what about height restrictions etc?

Changebagsandgladrags · 27/04/2011 22:48

Yep I went to Windsor & Eton Central today. Get off the train and head through the station shops to the High St. Turn Right and cross over so you are on Windsor Castle side.

The stop is by a big church & almost opposite Windsor Castle Hotel. Number 200 is the shuttle, it was £4something return for an adult, my son (4) was free. But the tourist info lady said also 191 & 702 go there.

I think it was called stop G, but I could be wrong.

Lots for a 4 yr old, more than there is for a 2 or 3 yr old. Driving school is fun, ditto the fire fighter thing , DS age 4 liked the river rapids ride and wet slide the best. Most things she will be able to go on with you , not much she will able to do her own except driving school.

FreudianSlipOnACrown · 27/04/2011 22:51

That's great thank you!

Had a quick search of trains etc, would be doable I think, 1hr45 with 1 change but she is pretty good on trains etc.

Changebagsandgladrags · 27/04/2011 22:53

If she is above 90cm then there are 24ish (I could have miscounted) rides she can go on. Most with you, some on her own.

Bring a buggy, or rent one for £8 as there is quite a lot of walking, it kept DS from moaning.
