Weather will be fairly hot in June - sunhats are a must.

You can buy pretty much everything you need out there, nappies, formula, jars, wipes - some brands are known by other names.

I always took my own formula just in case but not much else.

We took dd to Italy in September when she was 6 months old. I took my own formula and enough nappies to cover 3 days (just in case). As I was ff, I also took a tupperware container and sterilising tablets. Other than that - lots of hats, parasol for the buggy, some ELC stacking cups - can be used in the bath, on the beach, in the pool and take up hardly any room)

As for clothing - layers. Shorts and t-shirts and a few jumpers. Pretty dresses for the evening promenade - if you have a dd Wink

nappies in mallorca were really expensive, e24 for a 48,wet wipes were also about e3 a pack,i couldnt find nappy sacks either. they have a brand of baby food called Hero which is ok.

We went last year with DD who was just 7mo.

Food - are you in a hotel or an apt/villa? If the latter, take a hand blender and some little tupperware pots & then you can make your own mush out there. DD had a lot of banana, avocado & mango as obviously that could just be a fork. I also took some of that porridge (think Plum make it) which you just add water too as that was breakfast sorted.

Sleep - we took a lightweight sleeping bag but ended up just using a sheet

Play - we took a door bouncer with us which I'd picked up at a jumble sale which DD really enjoyed (she had a Jumperoo). Even if you're in a hotel room, you should be able to put it in the door into the bathroom. It was good to be able to have somewhere to put here. Other than that, just usual favourite toys inc a spare of her cuddly (which was handy as the main one didn't make it off the flight out!). Are you hiring a car? If so, if your DC normally has some sort of toy hanging off the car seat, take it with you.

Clothes - usual stuff - hats, really light clothing but some jumpers in case its cold, sun cream. If your DC isn't crawling (our DD wasn't) then you can just plonk them in the shade and they'll stay there so you don't have to worry about sunscreen as much.

Take the rain cover for the pram in case it rains!

A rug was invaluable as, even when we were sat on grass, it seemed quite scratchy grass compared to the UK (PFB moment!).

Hope that helps

Sorry, meant to post earlier. Have taken a 7 month old away and am taking a 4 month old away in June - obviously hats, Calpol etc. I always take my own formula, just because I use SMA and have found it difficult to get. I also use the bottle steriliser bags for the microwave

I tend to buy nappies, wipes etc there, but swim nappies are really expensive so bring them. I don't know if you are thinking of using a swimsuit with a built in swim nappy, I have used one once and it was shite (no pun intended), poo leaked out, thank God she wasn't in the water, ended up binning it.

I also bring a rug, one of those light picnic ones from M&S - grass is prickly!! I brought some light toys, stacking cups as well, bath type toys, also if swimming I brought a swimming thingy chair/seat for babies. Muslin cloths are great for wiping, covering prams, shielding from sun etc. Also bring a spare top etc for you for plane incase you get "sicked on".

Oh and don't forget to get an EHIC card for baby as well. Enjoy the holiday, taking babies away on holiday is fab, you just need to do it, the idea of planning for it was worse than the actual reality (most of the time Grin)
