Disneyland Paris airport transfer and carseats

Hi, we're going to Disneyland Paris next week, booked by my PIL's with my DS (4yrs) and DD (7 months)

My PIL's have booked the airport transfer to the Park. Has anyone done this? What happens about car seats? I'm a bit scared about having unrestrained children on a motorway around Paris Confused

We did the same a few weeks ago, and had booked a transfer with ezyshuttle. They had asked the kids ages when we booked, and had 2 suitable car seats in the car waiting for us. They also had an extra booster in the boot just incase. Maybe your parents could send another e-mail to double check?
Enjoy Disneyland!

Hi kazah,
There is a forum dedicated to Disneyland Paris on Trip Advisor where DLP experts and fans can help you with anything you need to know, including all the different transfer options and prices. It is a very friendly forum.

Ezyshuttle, as avaj suggests, is one of the companies that are regularly used and recommended by posters on the DLP/ MLV forum. I use them myself. Ezyshuttle is owned by a very friendly Irish man named John Maher, who lives near Disney, and is married to a French lady. I like using him because it is more personal, and you can book him by email or phone. No forms to fill in online, and he usually replies immediately.
This is not the cheapest company though, as he charges a little more than some others, from ? 70 one way.

Isprestige.com are also recommended and popular, and they have DVD players in their vehicles playing Disney films to keep kids amused on the journey which is around 30- 45 mins depending on traffic. They are cheaper but you have to fill in a form online or phone them.

Advance trip planning is essential to get the most out of your visit to Disneyland.

Sorry, just realised that your transfer is already booked - who is it with? Is it with the VEA Disney bus from CDG, Orly or Beauvais airports?
You have not said which airport you are flying into.
Disneyland is nowhere near Paris - it is in Marne La Vallee, about 40 mins from Paris by RER train. You do not go near the Pheriphique ring road.
All the private transfer companies that TA DLP/ MLV forum recommend have correct child seats for all ages.

This is another company recommended by posters on the TA DLP/MLV forum.

You do not pay for any of these companies in advance - pay the driver at the end of each journey. They are not shared journeys with other people, so take you straight to your hotel.
John from Ezyshuttle will not accept a tip because it is his own company.
The others use several different drivers, so not as personal, although posters say that the drivers speak English well and are very friendly.

So if your trip is a Disneyland flights/ hotel package with Thomas Cook, this usually includes vouchers for the VEA bus.
This bus leaves from terminal 2 E/F so if you arrive at another terminal you need to catch the airport shuttle bus to T2 E/F.
They may give you vouchers for the VEA bus which you exchange for tickets at the VEA desk in T2 E/F near the bus stop.
There are no child seats on the bus, so little ones have to be held. These buses go regularly throughout the day from CDG to Disneyland from 0840 until 2025. They stop at each of the Disney owned hotels, but not always at the Associated ones. If you are staying in one of these, you may need to get off at the bus stops by the railway station in resort, then catch the free shuttle to your hotel from there.
You could still book a private transfer even just for arrival if you feel it would be easier for you. I had VEA bus tickets on my visit last summer, but still booked ezyshuttle as I wanted to be on my way quickly and not waste park time waiting for a bus!
You have to leave resort 3 hrs before flight time on return, as there can be long queues at CDG.
Ask on the TA DLP/MLV forum if you need more help or advice.

PS - I hope you have a Magical Time there!
This is a link for the parks programme for next week. It gives times of parades, shows, and Character Meet and Greets.
Currently showing 30th April to 6th May.
Big Thunder Mountain ride is currently closed following an accident last Monday.

Sorry I didn't see your post rhynostorm. You could have found me and others to help you on the Trip Advisor Disneyland Paris / Marne La Vallee forum.
Hope you enjoyed your trip to DLP and that your transfers worked out OK for you.
