after getting some great tips last year from you lot, i am taking dd and a friend of mine to london.
We have one day on easter saturday, so instead of mooching round covent garden again can anyone make some suggestions.

I would like to find a nice little spa for a mini treatment. Somewhere nice but cheap.
Would also like to go to abercrombie & fitch with dd, where is it?
Also need somewhere to have a lovely lunch or dinner. We went to clos maggiore last time i went with my friend for lunch, but i think it might be wasted on dd (14). Somewhere special but not over priced.

TIA Smile

Abercrombie is in Mayfair.

I bought a friend a spa thing at the Sanctuary - this was a while ago but she did enjoy it. It's handy if you're in that part of town (cov gdn)

Trying to think of places for lunch dinner with dd. Sofra, Joe allens, both fit your bill I think (if you are looking in cov gdn).

For central London, the Cowshed Spa on Carnaby Street is reasonably priced, they do express treatments/packages etc and is in a very good area for shopping/mooching. You have Regent St and Oxford St just behind, plus Kingly Court at the bottom of Carnaby for quirkier, independent shops, and of course the whole of Soho...

For dinner with DD and friend there is plenty of choice in Soho too. What sort of thing do you fancy? You could have literally whatever cuisine you fancy. I can recommend good tapas, traditional British, Japanese, French etc... you name it.

Have you had a look at London Eating? You can search by area/tube station/type of occasion/cuisine etc.

This place is really good fun and I thought the food was good too when I last went - Inamo. It's on Wardour St in Soho - about ten mins walk from Carnaby Street.

Also it is five minutes walk from the south end of Carnaby St to the Abercrombie store. It's just the other side of Regent St and then one block along. Often a big old queue outside the store so maybe worth making this your first port of call and getting there early.

I went with my sister to Porchester Spa. It's owned by the council, so not exactly luxurious, but is in an old Victorian Baths. Also cheap. If it's a nice day have lunch at the Serpentine Cafe, or go to Borough Market near Southwark Cathedral, where you can get the ingrediants for a picnic you can eat on the side of the Thames.
Have a good time
