link?

is it the same group as wooley grange?

tamum · 27/10/2005 22:49

It is the same group as WG. I think the general consensus on here (and with other guests I've spoken to at WG) is that it is nice but getting slightly shabby compared with the others. There's no easy access to the beach either.

is WG good tanum?...we are off ther first weekend in dec

I love it, AQ. Go back every year. We go in summer and have had two years in a row of fab weather, eating lovely food and generally feeling spoilt. The children love going back. I know some people haven't enjoyed it as much- puff had a bad experience there last year but we've had a great time at least 5 or 6 visits now.

we went last december and loved it, dd1 especially loved the big indoor play area and swimming pool, did not venture out much as was december, but was excellent break (even with 5 week old dd2)

been to WG few years back when dd1 only 15 months and it was a revelation!!! We had a great time, were very lucky with weather, and used the outdoor pool, staff incredibly nice.

I live nearby and my friends and I often take the kids up at the weekend for afternoon tea and a go on their excellent children's facilities. They are very welcoming and there is an indoor pool, games room, outdoor play etc. Don't suppose beach access is too much of an issue in January?

Its grandeur is slightly fading but I don't find it off-putting. Give it a go, I would.

Oh look, it overlooks Chesil Beach - I love that beach!
