OK, we have TWO scenarios:

Arrive to New York on friday 27th. Must get to Cape Cod for 28th. Wedding on 29th. Where do we stay in New York before heading out to the cape?

OR, arrive to Boston on Friday 27th, and must get to Cape Cod on 28th. Where do we stay in Boston before heading out to the cape?

Leave from New York 13th June.

Where do we go in the 14 days?

Can we cheaply fly to Orlando and visit Disney World? If so, how? Where do we stay?

Preferably spend the final weekend in New York before flying back on monday 13th.

HELP!

WEll since we have just booked up for our 7th year to go to Cape Cod I am very much in the "don't bother with Orlando" camp!
Loads to do in Boston as already mentioned, my 2 (11 and 8 this year) love the science centre and the Boston duck tours. The Children's museum is good. The aquarium is fun and you can get harbour boat tours (we did a whale watch from Boston and reckon it was better than any of the ones we have done from the Cape).
We have stayed in the Radisson in Boston near the Common - it was OK. WE also stayed at the Marriott Long Wharf beside the aquarium which was a bit pricey but has the advantage that it is right in the centre. You can take a water taxi from the airport right to the hotel (we didn't as we couldn't find the bus to take us to the water taxi but I think it could be fun)
Cape Cod is beautiful - but unfortunately is a bit weather dependent - and I think early June can be unpredictable. It is great for kayaking and cycling as well as beach stuff.
