Hi all,
There are just so many of them! We are heading to Paris mid April, spending the first 4 days at Disneyland Paris. For the final 4 days we thought we would move to Paris central so wanted some recommendations on hotels. Have scoured trip advisor but there is just so much. Have 2 kids, 7 & 4. Want a good location, clean and not tiny rooms. Prefer not to pay a fortune for the room given you spend so little time in it. Any advice of where you have stayed and loved would be great.

We stay here The Quad capacity family rooms are very good value and the location is fab. Staff really helpful. Good child friendly pizza restaurant just across the road. Most sights walkable.

Hi,
Have you actually asked for advice on the Trip Advisor Paris forum, or just read through hotel reviews and listings?
The Destination Experts and regular posters there should be able to help you.

Likewise, I and others can help if you need any advice regarding Disneyland, on the Marne La Vallee / Disneyland Paris forum.

Thought i would give an update that we stayed at La Maison Champs Elysees hotel. Really great location but undergoing really big renovations. Will be really nice in the future.

Look through blurb by a biggie like Expedia and then see if you can get it cheaper on hotel website (cheek) Otherwise see if you can get into an Ibis- we did and it was great value-

Ibis now have 41 hotels In Paris. We paid more before finding Ibis and reckon all the rooms in central Paris are small Most important in Paris is that it is quiet and not near Pigalle!!

I agree that it is important to consider the area in Paris especially with children.
Pigalle/ Sacre Coeur/ Montmartre area is not advisable as some distance from other main sights, and Pigalle is rather seedy. This is where the Moulin Rouge show is, and the red light district. The area near Notre Dame/ Ile St Louis is very nice, and good location.
Look at a map of Paris before you book, so you can see where the hotel is. Some people get caught out by booking a cheaper hotel then finding out it is not very central, so more travelling time to get to sights and museums.
The OP has probably gone now, but this thread may help others.
