Santorini with a 3 month old?!

Hi All!
Am going to friends wedding in May with dh, ds (aged 6) and new dd who will be 3 months then.
Will she need extra jabs? Hotel room has fridge but not microwave. Am currently mixed feeding but think I will be bottle feeding completely by then. I plan to take over weeks supply of powder and those coldwater steriliser bags. Also ready made cartons for plane so I can feed on descent as I know it can really hurt their little ears.
Does this sound realistic? Am scared as everyone thinks we are mad to travel with her so young but I wanted to go to wedding and not split up family (my mum offered to have dd).
Any tips?
Thanks xx

I don't think any other jabs are needed for greece.

I would take a sling as it doesn't look particularly buggy friendly.

Santorini is on my must go list so am very Envy

I do know from the holiday brochures I have that not one hotel took children under the age of 13.

Santorini isn't very child-friendly - most of the paths are cobbled and it's very hilly so I would leave the pushchair at home. A sling is probably most useful for you if you are taking the baby with you. At 3 months old, that should be easy-peasy.

FYI, the descent never bothered both my DCs (and they travelled from very young and longhaul too!). It shouldn't be too hot in May either. Get the pharmacy inside the airport a call with regards to getting them to hold some cartons of milk for you as I think they might still make you open the cartons of milk to taste. Best to just buy them when you have passed through customs.

How long are you going for? TBH, travelling at that young age won't benefit your DD. If I were you and not going for too many days and you trust your mum, I would leave her. As I think you and the rest of your family will enjoy it more too. There's lots of things there to do that probably isn't the most baby-friendly and you will have to miss out - riding donkeys, going on a sailing trip to the centre of the live volcano (hot, swimming in sulphuric water which is meant to be good but very messy and lots of walking on fairly unstable ground). But it's your choice! Enjoy! I love Santorini, it is so stunning...

Thanks all.yes that is a good point about buying the cartons at airport...
it does look very hilly and pram will be cumbersome to take so will give that some thought too...
we are going for a week so would not want to leave dd for that long but i do trust my mum. if we are by the pool all week then so be it. hopefully dh and i can return when jids have grown up! if ds really wants to do something i'm sure we'll work it out.
thanks for all the advice x
