Taking the children to Bristol at half term any one got any good places to visit, other than @Bristol?

Bristol Zoo is fab- very child friendly, went there this w/e and the kids loved it

Bristol Zoo can be very busy in the holidays - I tend to avoid it, but is good place to visit! Also the City Museum on Queens Road, the Industrial museum down by the docks, Ashton Court is nice for walks

Depending how old your children are there is an exhibition at museum:

Beatrix Potter's Garden - 17th September 2005 to 27th November 2005
Venue: Bristol City Museum and Art gallery, Queen's Road, Bristol, BS8 1RL

Visitors of all ages from the youngest to oldest will enjoy Beatrix Potter's Garden. This engaging exhibition provides a unique insight into the life and works of this fascinating author and artist from her victorian childhood to her passionate love of nature.

If you would like to see the exhibition when it is less busy please visit after 3 pm

Noahs Ark outside Bristol good if you have a car (just ignore the fundamentalist Christian posters explaining how man could not possibly be anything to do with apes Grin).

Train to Bath then Victoria park which is a brilliant park for children. Bath fashion museum is quite fun theres a room for children to try on lots of Victorian outfits if they like that kind of thing.
