MUMS, Please Help!

Romantic husband here, have just packed wife of to beauty parlour for 4 hours, tomorrow, my parents are coming over to look after our 4 month old and 2 year old so we can go out for a meal (1st time for what seems like forever!) And Monday, i want to take her to Alton Towers (Parents still looking after the kids!)

SMall concern, we both love rollercoasters! As she is breastfeeding, she will prob. need to express. But, can anyone tell me if the rides themselves can hurt her, ie the restraints etc. her breasts can get quite sore.

I would really appreciate some feedback from anyone that can help!

Steve

Ah,aren't you a sweetie!

She should be ok. If it doesn't feel right, she'll know before the ride sets off I would imagine.

Have a great time!

PS Thought this post was going to ask whether it was ok to b/feed at AT to which my answer would have been that it's ok to b/feed anywhere!

The ones with an over-the-head restraint might be uncomfortable so best get them out of the way early or immediately after expressng

DS is 18m now, but my breasts would still feel uncomfortable if anything was pressing too hard on them. Having said that, went to Alton Towers a couple of weeks ago, and didn't feel any discomfort at all. The big rides all have quite tight restraints, but they are uncomfortable everywhere, and it's over in a minute!

Just as a thought, does she know about the planned Alton Towers trip? I personally wouldn't have wanted to leave ds for that long at that age. The expressing etc would have been a real pain. Could they not go too? Grandparents could take the 2yr old on rides whilst you go off and have a good time, and you could still meet up to feed the baby. Just my thoughts though, everybody is different. Plus then you'd get parent swap ride tickets, but that's another story!

Thankyou all for your advice. We had a great day out, Kim knew she was out for the day a week or so before and was very calm about leaving Jacob for the day! We have fab grandparents who had a blast, while we ere being blasted. No probs at all with the rides and Kim, she expressed a few times during the day!

Once again Thanks!
