Would this be a good location for short break in Paris?

I've also posted this in 'living abroad' in the hope that some Parisian mners might advise...

Could anyone with experience of Paris advise on whether this apartment would be a good choice for a four-day break in the Spring for me and two teenage girls? (There is a map at the bottom of the linked page)

An apartment might give us a bit more space than an hotel and it looks convenient.

My main concern, as we will be three females, is that it is relatively safe, especially in the evenings when we would want to go out to eat.

Many apartments don't take bookings of fewer than 5 days.

We plan to see some of the sights (Louvre, Montmartre) as well as shopping and having a day at Disneyland.

Or, any other suggestions? Many thanks.

Looks like a nice place, but not the most convinient for walking.

I would look in either the 1st, 2nd, 6th or 7th arrondisement. Alternatively the Marais quarter is nice (3rd I think).

Last time we stayed in Paris we had an appartment which I definately prefered, but we ended up in the redlight district (with 3DCs Shock). It was actually really central (think soho 40 yrs ago) but if I went again I would ago a few streets away (rue st Dennis so you know).

Thanks - people on living abroad have reassured me it's a safe area (not red light district!) but, as you say, not the most convenient, so I'm still having a think and also looking at hotels. I think an apartment might be more convenient for the early arrival/late departure scenario.
