Are the Sun/ Daily Mail holidays worth the bother?

Also, it seemed to us that a four night break for four would cost at least £240 for the most basic accomm if it's £15 per person per night for 4 night midweek break. When you add on top cost of entainment pass, the total cost would be at least £250, is it not cheaper and more conv to choose when and where you want to go privately?

I usually book one but it was going to cost us £140 by the time we had paid linen, service charges, and entertainment passes.

Have booked a 7 day break with haven for £235

we went on one last year. only cost about 120 for 4 of us but i did take my own duvet covers, bottom sheets and pillow cases. we had 4 days in cumbria and it was fab but we spent a fortune while we were there

costs just as much if not more, ive booked mine with haven on a half price deal they have, when i wanted, location, dates, grade of accomadation etc, without waiting like a lucky dip to see what u get,and no bloody token collecting

so personally dont think its worth it,

some good deals about if ur quick

should add going for 4 nights south coast,in May,large park very good grade of accomadation for upto eight people £155 now thats loads cheaper than the sun/mail once you add all their extra charges and passes etc on

It's not per person per night - just per person for the holiday. So it could be less than £60 for the holiday if you choose one with no service charges. It's worth looking to see what the entertainment passes are all about at each park too. We don't usually bother if there is a beach nearby as we won't use the pool if we can go in the sea. (and I don't do bingo!) Once you've been once (and usually paid about £120!) you get sent internet booking for the next time. It's great if you can spare an hour - you keep on putting in your combination of choices until you get what you want. We have had some fab holidays. The only time we arrived and were given a very small shed like caravan, we paid the site for an upgrade and it was cheaper than the sun option.

I've booked Haven for four nights in the Easter holiday through Daily Mail offer, total was £72.50 for four of us. Last year I did the same and the passes and linen only added about £30 on top. The Haven website has exactly the same site, dates and grade of caravan for almost £250 and that's heavily discounted!
