We are planning to go either Easter or Summer 2012 and would love to hear what you did that went well or was a mistake.
Our boys will be aged 4, 8 and 11 when we go.
We followed others advice when we went to Eurodisney and it really helped.
By the way we would like to stay in either a villa or a cabin as there will be the 5 of us.

The Dibb is a great board and I would really recommend it - I dont think you can beat it for knowledge. They also have a villa rental section.

We have just booked (today!) to go to Florida again this summer. We ae off for a fortnight on the 30th July. t will be very hot, but it is school holidays and we know what to expect as have been 3 times before int he summer. It is hot but bearable.

We are going with my parents, so 5 of us, and we are getting a villa, like when we have been with them before. When it was just the three of us we stayed at Animal kingdom hotel - but much dearer option if you need more than one room.

Again this year (and in 2009) it has been cheaper to do it as a package through Thompson. By a couple of thousand pounds too! the first two times we went (2004 and 2006) doing it seperately with Virgin flights were the best optins. however this year at least flights are very expensive in school holidays. We have just booked for 4 adults and 1 child for 2 weeks in August, with villa and flights for £4500. We will have car hire on top and tickets.

Easter is a bit cooler but much busier. It is as busy as Christmas over easter weekend.

My dad has just sourced a ticket for £400 each which covers all the parks in the area plus water parks, and Sea world, space centre, and Busch Gardens. We do parks every day - even at 2yo DD never waivered and just wanted more and more! - so this works out as the best deal for us so far.

The queues at DisneyWorld are much shorter than Disneyland Paris - so you will notice a big change there.

StarPlayer - we really liked the Toy Story ride and felt it was worth the wait - big wait as was brand new when we went in 2009. DD loved it!

I agree - we have been at Easter, in the summer and in November and I would definately say that while Easter is cooler, its much busier. If you aim to go at the end of the summer the American children will have gone back by then so its much quieter midweek.

We are going back in the summer of 2012 - just waiting for the packages to be released. Normally about April or May.

im planning take ds3 and dd September 2012 and its coming at £3400 for staying on site and includes the Dp .But still need work out tickets

If was there for 10-14 days would you aim for a 14 day tickets or do a 7 day disney park ticket knowing we want to do sea world, aquatica as well.

Anyone know when they release for September 2012 will feel better once its booked

Flights are normally released 11 months in advance and villas you can book at any time.
I'd go for the 7 day ticket so you'd have time for Seaworld and other parks.
Seaworld often do 2nd day free (within a week)
When we went last year we went for the Orlando Flex ticket which was for Seaworld, Universal, Islands of adventure, Aquatica and Wet and Wild. Think it was about 200 pounds each but will find info and post later. We then just bought daily tickets for Disney as we'd done a lot of it before and the eldest kids wanted to do the Universal parks and aquatica. We got our tickets through Kissimmee Guest Services (KGS) who are based in Celebration and got quite a good deal through them.
