Anyone booked a Eurocamp-type holiday with Brittany Ferries?

What a nightmare trying to compare Eurocamp/Keycamp/Canvas holidays? Thinking of going to Villages les Mouettes in Brittany in June. It is looking like booking through Brittany Ferries brochure is going to be the best deal. Has anyone booked with these before? Is the accommodation the same as if booked through the other companies? Are the children's clubs organised by each individual company or is it likely to be one club available to everyone? Brittany Ferries brochure states there are kids clubs, but wasn't sure if it was the "Fun Kids for All" club mentioned in the other brochures. Advice please :-)

Hi, I haven't ever booked direct with brittany ferries we have gone with eurocamp using brittany ferries though to sites where canvas, thomson al fesco and keycamp have also been. accommodation tends to be specific to the holiday company but the parks have thier own accommodation too which may be what you are booking through brittany? they also all seem to have their own kids clubs for each company. Haven't stayed at village les mouettes though so perhaps is different

hi the kids clubs are different on most sites but not all. So Eurocamp has theirs and Keycamp have theirs. I would think that Brittany Ferries will book with one of these companies and you will get the appropriate accomodation. By the way had a terrific time on Brittany Ferries to France a few years ago. I even entered the competition to win a camera. I had to go on stage and sing nursery rhymes. But I froze in the lights. So embarrasing as I was a childminder of six years at the time and spent all day singing to the children. Blush. Xmas Smile

have you tried calling the companies and getting quotes - they tend to have special offers for new customers/returning ones etc. so brochure price isn't normally what you would pay.

agree with what others say - ref kids clubs and accommodation. if you haven't done this before i would recommend renting as large a mobile home as you can afford and having a cabin thats not right down the bottom of the ship. if you are doing the st malo/portsmouth route would suggest cabin both ways.

last time canvas were slightly more expensive than keycamp or eurocamp
