Aptamil equivalent in the US?

Hi All, going to be in the US for a month and I know they dont have Aptamil there. I was planning to take a couple of tubs and introduce some US formula into the mix - DS is nearly a year old, has three bottles a day. The only other option is to send some Aptamil on ahead, but i'd rather save the expense. Does anyone know what's the best US equivalent? I'm hoping that because of DS's age he wont get the stomach upset associated with formula change, but not sure if it's worth the risk.
Also planning to take some cartons onto the plane, i've travelled shorthaul to Italy before and they made me open one, does anyone know what their policy is if you have 3 or four cartons in baby's hand luggage? Thanks in advance for any advice! x

could you not introduce him to cows milk as he's almost a year old?

You could try looking at either the Enfamil or Similac websites and see if you can compare the label information with what you are currently using.

thanks all, looking into both options!

I'm in Central America and my DD is on Nutrilon, which is the same as Aptimil. Same packaging, just a different name. Have a look for that brand as that may be how it's marketed in the US as well.

Aptamil isn't available in the US but when DD1 was small we gave her Enfamil which is virtually the same only without probiotics.
