We are looking to go to SES next year with 2 small children, 5 and 8. Any recommendations of places to stay or to avoid, good places to visit etc.
Thanks for any tips.

If you can afford it, the Four Seasons at Sharm is wonderful, with a kids club too. Your dcs are a good age to try out the snorkelling too.

I'm going to Aqua Blu next month. A friend of mine went a couple of months ago and came back raving about it, the photos look fab. There is an aquapark i nthe grounds that you get free, unlimited access to. Something like 11 different pools and over 30 slides.

The Hyatt is fantastic, been twice.

The hotel has its own reef, so you don't need to go off on boat trips. The fish are just amazing out there.

Great food selection for children.

Don't go in Summer, toooooo hot. October half term is very nice.

i stayed at the four seasons in jan this year. loved it. went with DH and DD (then 5 months old) but didn't try kids club. basically, didn;t leave the hotel for 10 days and just had a very lovely relaxing holiday.

We went to Rennaissance hotel about 5 years ago and it was fantastic great facilities and food. We had a fantastic time. Although they do not have their own stretch of beach just a jetty type thing. We went in December and weather was just right not to hot or cold.

def the 4 seasons at sharm. we stayed in Jan with DD 5mo. amazing and relaxing holiday. beautiful pools, lots of little ones around. we didn't leave the resort apart from to walk to a local supermarket for drinks and snacks. they have loads of activities each day for all ages too.

I wouldn't go there now after the sharks' attacks in front of the Hyatt. Amputations or death aren't on my holiday plan.

I've just priced the Four Seasons for half term in Feb. £4715 Shock

One room, bed and breakfast.

You could get Dubai for cheaper.
