will it be hell on earth?

We'll be taking 18 mo DS2, is there anything he can go on? I can't remember!

Also DH had an annual pass he never really used. If the expiry date is 2nd Sept I'm assuming it's still valid tomorrow?

There is stuff for toddlers. We took DS2 who was 14 months at the time.

Some children have gone back to school so hopefully wont be too bad for you. I would go early though it gets busier as the day goes on.

Most schools round Windsor back on Monday so may still be busy, r.e annual pass yes should be fine.

Good for your DS2 will be:
Miniland
Duplo stuff
Lego City
Enchanted Forest
Fairy Tale Brook
Balloon School (you can just hold him probably)
Boating School
Orient Expedition (train)
Carousel
Ferris Wheel
Imagination centre

Me and my son 4 years old went today too... weather weas aweomse!! but queues were still quite long.. but managed to have an enjoyable and fun birthday treat number 2!

TheHouseofMirth · 02/09/2010 22:34

Weather was lovely. Queues were not! Wish we'd gone to the seaside instead. We could have bought a lot of goes on rides for our £30+ entrance fee!

I went today too- My sister said it was the busiest she'd ever seen it - (10 Visits) I was a virgin before today.

firsttimemama · 02/09/2010 22:39

BTW we (the kids) went on 3 rides.

TheHouseofMirth · 02/09/2010 22:49

I think when it's your frist time that's OK because you're happy to just be there and look at stuff but we've been 5 or 6 times now and are at the point where DS knows which rides he wants to go on. Very frustrating! Also I think that kind of queuing for a place which is obviously aimed at under 10s is not great.

We went on plnety of rides, that I made a list so that my 4 year old Ace can go on... we missed about 3-4 out of 19.... i bought the park tickets from ebay... so a lot lot cheaper... it was my 1st time @ legoland windsor too... queuing with the children they don't really understand... its quite annoying... but im kind of planning to go in october half term... but it will also be busy then... as he will start reception yr next week...

mummytime · 03/09/2010 11:03

We're experienced queues, but then we've done disney. One of mine queued 1 1/2 hours for Dumbo at Disney when she was 3, and was fully prepared to wait that long. Kids can queue if they want something enough.

We are going to legoland for first time at the of October. We have a three day pass. Kids are 2.5 and 5 yrs old. Any tips for must see & do? Anyone use the q-bot?

Munchin · 04/10/2010 12:07

sorry meant to say the end of October!!!

BargainHuntress · 05/10/2010 15:12

DH gets a discount at his work with to legoland. It's not massive, but might get you a free lunch :)

I'll ask him when he gets home tonight if he can remember which company it's with.

:)
